On the southern facing hillside below the Villa are the Pinot Noir plants. On a clear day you can see across this beautiful valley.

The Siegerrebe grapes are planted just in front of several long rows of lavender.  It is a beautiful site and these “Reisling” style grapes seem to love the Western Washington climate.

The Winery actually started a a very rustic barn made with old growth Fir. For years it sat there and we pondered what to do with it as it looked like it should be torn down. However, once Steve decided to plant his grapes, we knew we would need a place to make and store the wine. In addition, our summers were getting busier with more friends and family coming out to visit. We ended up gutting the entire structure to create a beautiful furnished apartment with the winery below.

The apartment or “Villa” as we refer to it is the perfect place to stay while we have the “Crew” assembled to make the wine.

The Pinot Noir grapes mature into a shade of deep purple.  It is said that this is one of the most difficult grapes to cultivate as these plants are not as prolific as other varieties.

The Siegerrebe grapes are a clone to a Reisling.

An incredible table was built for BCW wine tastings and events. With a removable base, it can be carried outside for dining al fresco.  The winery itself has everything needed to make and produce wine. Getting ready for the 2017 crush!

The first vintage of our Albarino was bottled this summer. David Sylling, the winemaker, produced both a dry and another batch that had just a small amount of residual sugar.

The vineyard has beautiful views of the Cascades which adds to the overall ambiance of Brooks Creek Farm. Along with the grapes, Steve and Charlie have planted peach, cherry, plum, apple, fig, asian pear, walnut and chestnut trees.

Summer 2017 – the Brooks Creek Winery was complete. The winery has it all: a great tasting bar, a lab, fermentation room, cooler and of course the wine barrels filled with wine.

The winery is a family affair and we hope to start many traditions

These Hops plants thrive along our orchard fences.
